He has in-depth knowledge of investments and financial markets. He has completed an array of academic qualifications to compliment his real life investment experience.
He started his investment career in 2007 at Brown Shipley after studying Mathematics with Finance at Leeds University. He worked as an Investment Director at Close Brothers from September 2014 before co-establishing Raymond James, Spinningfields in November 2020.
In his spare time Doug enjoys playing any sport, going to the cinema and listening to music.

Prior to Raymond James, Spinningfields, Tom worked at Brown Shipley Private Bank for 11 years. He is passionate about delivering bespoke investment solutions to clients and works closely with other professional advisers to ensure clients have the best possible team around them.
Tom is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).
When Tom isn’t working, you’ll find him spending time with his family and playing as much golf as possible.

Nick is an experienced wealth industry professional with deep investment management knowledge and expertise, focused in private client relationship management for high and ultra-high net worth individuals and families.
He spent over 20 years with Coutts in senior roles, encompassing Global Co-Chief Investment Officer and Global Head of Tailored Portfolio Management, overseeing £7bn in assets under management.
His career had been predominantly based in London and Hong Kong, before relocating to the North West in 2016. Nick’s final full time executive role was Regional Head – North West for Brown Shipley Private Banking, based in Manchester.
Nick acts as a consultant to Raymond James Spinningfields, leveraging over 30 years of his experience in the industry to support our investment proposition and client delivery, and benefiting from his strategic leadership and people management experience.
